of a farm at the top of van Reenan’s
Pass just 9Km off the N3. It overlooks Nelson’s Kop mountain and the Tandjesberg with the Wilge
river in the valley below. Strawcroft is built with wheat straw bales which
is an eco-friendly resource. The straw bales provide excellent
insulation, giving the cottage a cozy,
welcoming feel. For those of us who enjoy our creature comforts, the cottage has an open log
fireplace, and there are eco-heaters in all bedrooms. Climate: Accommodation: Open plan lounge, dining
